I really enjoyed this. Nice start up. One minor gripe was that Sara so readily accepts their story, but aside from that very good

Wow. Very dark and menacing. Still, it is paced well, draws you in right away, and leaves you wanting to read a little more. Kudos to our first Originals entry! It will be veerrrry interesting to see how we can mesh our sections of this continuity!

Hey Thomas!
I just read Supernaturals #1. Wow this was really great! I found the writing style to be much different from your Uncanny X-Men title.
The beginning was well done (the scene with Jon and his parents in the car).
Nice set up and reveal letting us know Jon is someone special as the story progresses.
The tale itself is moody and dark, I love that! It's like Castlevania, Harry Potter, Van Helsing, all combined. Really nice job.
My only real complaint here is the Sara thing. As Dan pointed out, I feel she not only found out too quickly but that she accepted the story and instantly wanted to join them. It's a bit unrealistic that she wouldn't even be a bit scared.
Also, the ending. Again, Sara rushes in and starts fighting a vampire?! Why would she do this? Again, she's not even the least bit scared? Surely this is the first time she's seen a vampire.
If I ignored the Sara parts, the rest of the story was excellent! Just work on more realistic reactions especially for newcomers to magic and monsters like Sara.
All in all, you're starting the Camelot section off with a bang! I'll definitely be reading the next issue!

Good job Thomas, i like everything about the story. The only thing that caught me by surprise is how Dean didn't flip-out about some of the grammar errors that slipped through (LOL). Keep up the good work and I'll be reading.

A very nice beginning to our Camelot section. This was a good, dark, fast-paced tale and a worthy start to this title. Unfortunately for me, the other readers here have touched on the points I would make, such as Sara's behavior, so I can't add anything original here. Suffice it to say you'll definitely have me reading next issue.
I've been looking forward to reading the Camelot titles and so far, so good.

It felt a little rushed but I really enjoyed it. I saw story to be spun off it. I like the the direction it seems to be going. Maybe one day you'll let me write a spin off?

Good start...I like the concept of the Supernaturals, but I have to echo some of the sentiments above me.....Rushed comes to mind......all that occurred in this one issue could have taken at least two and set things up slower.....I'm guessing you were excited about the original concept and wanted to get as much out as you could....which I completely understand....Like the ending, didn't see her getting bit......Overall great concept and will be reading for more, just watch the pacing...we're not going anywhere...no rush.....

Who cares how a story ends? It's the happiness in the middle that makes it a good one.
