The issue is written well and the characters are interesting and fresh (to us, not the vampires). We are left with enough mystery to bring us to the next issue, and there is more drama here to keep our attention. I will continue to read, although I must admit, I'm not really interested in vampires anymore (I've seen so much over the years that it is hard to see anything new in a story with vampires in it), so forgive me if I don't gush about the stories. However, as I said, the most important part of any story is the characters, and here this series is rock solid.

thanks for the kind words. Honestly, this issue I feel lacked some of what the first had. But I've already written #3 and i feel it is pretty good. Plus, I think I open with a pretty good fight scene.... ;D

The Universe is starting to come together. I loved Alex's quips in this issue. I like this story. Good job

thank ya, thank ya..... I was original going to create a character that would be the smart-mouthed bad guy...but then runaway22 created Victor Van Helsing...so I thought he'd be perfect for that role

It seems like this title and Supernaturals are almost companion books. Bringing Victor into this was a great idea; he's a fun, entertaining character. The Camelot titles seem to have a common thread of dark, supernatural type heroes and villains with the exception of Battleforce.
So Alexis accepts her destiny and learns about her lineage. I'm almost sorry Dracula wasn't raised from the dead. There's a badass character to use.
Great start to this title, though I'm not sure you can stab a vampire through the heart with a steak. Maybe if it was a porterhouse?
