Nighttime..... A lone dark room in the Arkham Asylum...
A guard walks to one of the more secure rooms that housed one of the most insane men he had ever seen: THE JOKER!
The guard opens the door slowly and says, "Joker, you have visitors."
The man in the room just mumbled and laughed to himself as the guard led the two men in. One was a well dressed, stocky man with a cane and top hat. The other was a small, shaky man with glasses.
"You have 20 minutes, and be careful. He's a lunatic. We have armed guards waiting and we'll be watching on camera," the guard said while pointing to a small security camera in the corner of the room. Then he left, locking the door behind him.
As soon as the guard’s footsteps faded, the stocky man swung his cane towards the camera and shattered it.
"Why would you do that? The guards will come back!" the Joker cackled.
The stocky man replied, "The guards watching those cameras will not say a thing about us, not when we came at the boss's request."
"He's reached the asylum?"
"There's nowhere that his influence can't reach. Our boss is that magnificent."
"The fact that you would refer to him as your "boss" shows how far you've fallen, Penguin!"
“I haven't fallen, I have risen. While you sit imprisoned, we are free. Isn't that right?" Penguin said to the smaller man. The smaller man just looked expectantly at him and the Penguin said "Oh, right! I forgot your little doll." He then took off his top hat and pulled a small case from inside and handed the case to the small man. The small man opened it up and took out a ventriloquist dummy that mirrored a 1930's mobster. The man talked through the dummy.
"See, it's not exactly my idea, but it was either stand by him or fall to Batman, Scarface stated, "He has amassed a gang unlike anything I've seen before...."
" A gang of nothing but common criminals, street trash!! These are people that Batman could take in his sleep. The only useful ones are you and Penguin."
"And Two-Face. He just joined up. There are others too, Joker. You shouldn't doubt the boss’s influence," Penguin chirped in.
"Harvey Dent?" the Joker questioned.
"Yes," Penguin explained, "Once he heard about Batman's kid going on patrol he joined up."
"Batman's kid?" The joker looked even more confused.
"You’re not caught up in the streets anymore. Well, our eyes on the street are saying that on last nights patrol, Batman had some kid with him. The kid called himself Robin."
"Batman's kid, Batman's SON? Ha HA HA HA!! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
